FTC disclosure

Starting December 1, 2009, the new FTC endorsement guide states that bloggers must disclose payments.

Although MeetingBoy is mostly just mocking things people in the office do for my own amusement, there may be times when I am compensated.

The most common ways I might get paid on this site include, but not limited to:

  • When a visitor clicks on a link in an article, a feed, or an ad anywhere on the site.
  • When I write a review for a product or service.
  • When someone requests a paid appearance on their site.

As a result, please assume that anything I do may potentially be biased.

For the period October 2010- March 2011, MeetingBoy has entered into a paid arrangement with join.me which includes

  • writing content for blog.join.me
  • appearing in join.me sessions
  • promoting those appearances and blog postings.

For the period June 2011- September 2011 will be writing paid posts for YAM Labs (“Yet another meeting!”) on their blog.

MeetingBoy received a free STUPID button from stupidbuttons.com in the hopes that he would like it and mention it on his blog. No other forms of consideration have been given.
